In this video, J Sai Deepak asks Asaduddin Owaisi if the basis of all Islamic laws lies outside India or not? Initially, Asaduddin Owaisi insists that Islamic laws were made in India too, so they are very much applicable to India and the socio-cultural situations here. He gives an example of Fatwa e Alamgiri. He insists that most Indian Muslims are of the Hanifi sect so they follow Fatwa e Alamgiri which was written in India.
J Sai Deepak further explains his question by saying what is the basis of this Fatwa e Alamgiri? Asaduddin Owaisi answers, it’s Quran and hence it is proved that all the basis of Islamic laws lies outside India!
