What is Halal? Why is it needed in the modern market economics? Those who don’t want it, are being force-fed Halal against their wishes. On the top of it, they are made to bear the burden of extra cost that these companies pay for getting Halal Certified!
At times Hindus say that they are not affected by Halal because they are vegetarians. Nothing can be further from the truth! They are affected because airline catering, hotels, resturants, vegetarian edible items, medications and even cosmetics need a Halal Certification. The extra cost envolved is put on consumers by the companies.
Besides what happned to my independence of eating what I want? Why someone else should be able to decide that only Halal certified products reach my plate!
