Tarapur in the Munger district of Bihar witnessed one of the most brutal, inhuman police actions of the British colonizers of India. On the 15th of February 1932, about 400 protestors were shot at. As per not-so-reliable colonial records, 31 or 34 people were shot dead in this colonial brutality of the inhuman British government.
