What to keep in mind – Journalism and Indian Laws

Law of the land should be kept in mind while reporting. It is an ethical practice to follow the laws (even though we have seen those with a colonial mindset, not keeping the laws into consideration like in the case of the BBC documentary on the Nirbhaya case). The question is which laws should be kept into consideration? Here we take a look at the most common ones which should be kept in mind (especially while reporting on women and children).
