A good vocabulary is needed for clearing various competitive exams in India and abroad. This poses a problem because most of the time Indians are not using English as their first language, or as the preferred language of communication. Due to this, the level of competency is low. As we grow older the capacity of learning new words declines too.
Under such circumstances how can we learn new words? This is an important asset for anyone because we see that often people with a better vocabulary, who can communicate better or precisely, get promoted faster in jobs too!
This is where flashcards come in handy. They can be used to create a learning environment that enables us to learn easily and quickly. Here we take a look at how I have been using them. I’ve used flashcards by Vibrant Publication because they offered about 1500 cards whereas other publications had around 7-800 cards in their packages.
